Prayer Requests, Thanksgiving & Praises

New & Updated Requests
-Duane Van Skiver (Amy B’s Dad) had his cast removed from his wrist and is undergoing physical
therapy
-Vivian Wallace’s Daughter & Grandson for strength to get through some personal problems.
-The Wilson Family (Chuck & Jon) are grieving the loss of their mother/granmother Addie
Blankenship.
-June Metcalf- (Ken's Family) has had an aggressive reoccourence of breast cancer, the docs believe
that it was caused by the radiation treatments she received from the 1st treatment 12 years ago. She
will be getting treatments in Nashville, she lives in Memphis.
-Brenda Small- (Joan's sister, Poff's UK grandma) has terminal cancer & Joan will be travelling to
Canada to see her in April.
-Elena Orellana- is undergoing chemo treatments for the next few months.
Thanksgivings and Praises
Slade and Wendy Wilson are waiting to go back to Russia to get their son Nicholas! Check out their

Rand Winn-(Miranda's dad) had kidney aneurism surgery, all went well and her will only lose 10%
of his kidney! He is also, recovering from catching the flu in the hospital.
Marcia Van Skiver- (Amy's Mom) her surgery went well! There will be no further treatments
needed! The docs don't want to see her for 6 months!
Paul B- Was in church last Sunday!!!!!! He is recovering well from the surgery and the complications
that followed.
Continuing Prayer Requests
-Christine & Mike Moats & baby (Paul & Cheryl’s Daughter & Son-in-law)
-Gabe, Julie and Kayla Atwell
- Freda Conner (Ellen Baker’s mother), Mary Helen Baker (Ken’s step-mother), and Helen Rogers
(Mike’s mom), all with major health issues.
-Ongoing Health Issues: Mary Zerphey, Wendy Nichols, Mark Tunick, Vanessa Smith dialysis
treatments, Mike Smith continues to improve. Ellen Preloh, Stacey Brotherton Thank you for
your continuing donations!

BCS Fund Raising
A great opportunity
for our church
family to 'give' to
our school!
Right now, we are
collecting Giant &
Safeway card
numbers. Every
time you shop a
portion of your
money spent will be
donated to BCS!
Also, there are coin
cans in the foyer to
put your spare
change in!
And as always
collect Campbell's
soup labels and box
tops!

We are currently looking for new volunteers to serve this
year, there are many opportunities to serve, scripture
reading, prayer, communion meditation, server, nursery
helper, Children's Worship, Children's worship assistant,
greeter, A/V tech, communion prep.
There is a sign up sheet in the foyer!
If you are already a server and want to be removed from
the master list please see Miranda Poff.
Small Group Break
Small groups will not be meeting:
Easter Sunday 23 March
or
30 March- Fellowship of the 5th

Midweek for the Master
Come at 6:30 for a light meal and a short
devotional to focus our minds and hearts on
Christian service. Then from 7-8pm, we will
identify opportunities for Christian service
and take action on those opportunities. This
ministry will grow as we nurture it, so come
and seize the day!

As a part of our celebration of Easter
this year we are asking families to
adopt an Easter Lilly plant for $20.00.
After services you can take your plant
home to have a beautiful keepsake that
comes back year after year! There is a
sign up sheet in the foyer. 10 plants are
available
